CHS Internship is a unique opportunity for juniors and seniors to start preparing for a career while still in high school.
The Cashmere High School Internship program integrates school-based and work-based learning. It is designed for high school students who want hands-on learning in an occupational area at a work site along with classroom instruction. Students accepted into the internship program will continue taking classes at CHS while also working at a participating business.
Students
- Earn a paycheck or volunteer and learn more from skilled professionals
- Receive high school credit for your on-site learning internship ( .5 or 1 credit per semester)
- Experience first-hand connections between high school education and real-life work
- Increase career awareness and improve future employability
- Developing the necessary skills needed for successful entry-level employment
- Develop a network of contacts in your career field
