Since graduation from
Cashmere High School in 2006, Rev. Tyler Gubsch has graduated with his
bachelors of arts from Pacific Lutheran University, studying religion and
Classical history. He graduated from
Luther Seminary of St. Paul, Minnesota with a Masters Degree in Divinity in the
summer of 2014 and was ordained to serve Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Tekamah,
Nebraska as pastor. He has worked at
summer camp at Lutherhaven ministeries of Couer’d Alene Idaho as a camp
counselor, a pastoral internship at Long Lake Lutheran Church, Isanti MN, as
well as a grounds keeper at Luther Seminary.
The proudest moment since graduating high school was taking the call to
pastoral ministry. The advice he would
give to Cashmere students is, “the most important thing in your job is to find
meaning in your work.”
