Harriet Green
Harriet graduated from Cashmere High School in 1934.
She graduated from Eastern Washington State College with her teaching degree.
She married Patrick E. Green on August 9, 1942 and had three sons; Michael, Scott, and Chris. They moved to South America and then returned to Cashmere in 1952.
Harriet started new programs for her second grade students, such as the Mexico unit, Holland breakfast, and the businessmen’s luncheon.
She was a member of St. James’ Episcopal church and the Children’s orthopedic Hospital Guild.
After her retirement from teaching in 1978, Mrs. Green watched her six grandchildren grow up and graduate.
