• CHUCK DRONEN

                Chuck Dronen graduated in 1973 from Cashmere High School. His parents are Vern and Joyce Dronen and he has two brothers, Lynn and Bill. He was very enthusiastic and took part in many school activities. After completing High School he applied to Eastern Washington University. He graduated from EWU in 1978 with an education degree. Chuck taught for only a short while before returning to work with his family at the Cashmere Convalescent Center.

                While attending Eastern Washington University he married his wife Barb in Cheney. They had 5 children who have all attended or are currently attending Cashmere High School. Their names are Josh, Heather, Greg, Eric, and David. Besides raising his children Chuck put much time and effort into the completion of Epledalen Retirement and Assisted Living in 1999. Chick and his wife Barb are still co-managers of Epledalen to date.

                Chuck enjoys traveling on his free time and he has seen much of the world. He has traveled to Japan, England, Wales, Norway, Canada, Mexico, and twenty states in the U.S. When Chuck is not working at the Epledalen, there are other activities that keep Chuck busy such as: coaching youth soccer, working the sideline at football games, working with the local Kiwanis and Rotary groups, and Boy Scouts. Chuck is one of those that has chosen to do his part to make Cashmere a quality place to live and raise a family. His contribution through service club work, and youth related organizations are unparalleled. He has always said YES to kids.
