    Job Title- Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician fill and transcribe prescriptions, maintaining patient profiles or records, sterile products preparation, performing stock procedures, communicate with doctors and insurance companies, and help people in the process of getting well.

Schooling- North Idaho College, Cashmere High School

Education- Pharmacy Tech Degree, Associates of Science Degree, IV & Compound Therapy Certification, Phlebotomy License

Through getting my Pharmacy Tech. degree I have a basic understanding of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, pharmacy law, and the therapeutic classification and use of prescription drugs.

Some jobs I’ve held through the years include internships at Kootenai Medical Center and Walgreens pharmacy, cashier at Mica Peak Exchange, camp counselor, server at Blom’s American Grill and Irish Pub, pharmacist assistant and clerk at Doane’s Valley Pharmacy.

The advice that I would give the new graduates would be to make goals, have ambitions, but to be flexible during the process. It’s easy to plan things out and stick to your course goals. But everyone learns differently at their own pace. Don’t get discouraged when obstacles arise. It’s all part of growing and working hard. Keep your chin up. You’ll get there.
