• Dick Braun

Nearly a life-long resident of Cashmere, Dick Braun graduated from Cashmere High School in 1954. He received his college degree from the University of Washington, served in the US Army, and then graduated from Mortuary College.

In 1957, Dick married Joan Lowers, and settled in Cashmere where they raised three children.

Dick has held leadership positions throughout the community. He has served as city councilman, mayor, and sat on the Cashmere Museum Board of Directors.

Dick has also given much time into community service. He managed Little League baseball, was a Red Cross volunteer, and in both 1975 and 1981 was named the “Citizen of the Year”.

We proudly welcome Dick Braun into the Cashmere High School Wall of Fame.
