• William F. Reese

    Mr. Reese is a member of the National Academy of Western Art. He is the subject of a book by Mary Ann Balcomb published by the Blue Raven publishing.

    Mr. Reese has had pieces shown in the 1981 Pam Driscoll Collection of American Western Art which was shown in Peking, China. He studied art at the Art Center College of Los Angeles. His media are oil, water, pastel, bronze, and etching.

    Mr. Reese was awarded the Silver Medal for Drawing and also was awarded the Robert Weed Award by the National Academy of Western Art.
    In 1991, Mr. Reese won the Region III Award for a painting depicting the Northern Lights while on the Iditarod Trail. It was awarded by the National Parks Academy for Arts.

    In 1992, he won a Region 1 medal for a painting of the Lincoln Memorial awarded by the National Parks Academy of the Arts.

    As a show of his appreciation, William F. Reese has donated a book of his paintings to the Cashmere High School library.
