Tracy Franklin
Tracy Franklin was born in Quincy, Washington in 1960 and lived there until her family moved to Cashmere in 1963. She attended Cashmere High School where she served as an A.S.B. officer and was a cheerleader, graduating in 1979. After high school she attended Central Washington University receiving a degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Elementary Education.
In 1982 Tracy married Ron Franklin, also a Cashmere graduate, and they began a family with the additions of Ryan, Brett and Adam.
Tracy opened Apple Tree Academy, a private preschool, in 1990 and for the next 17 years she prepared over 600 young students for kindergarten. In 2006 her career took a different turn as she began working with John L. Scott Reality in Wenatchee.
Since 2001 Tracy has been a member of the Cashmere High School Board. She is involved in numerous other community activities, including: Children’s Hospital Guide, Cashmere Schools Bond and Levy Committees and Cashmere Royalty Club. She has served as a Sunday school teacher, AAU organizer, as well as a member of the Relators Community Outreach.
Tracy says that she is flattered to be nominated for this award and will continue to help make a positive difference in her community.
Cashmere High School’s Class of 2010 is honored to induct Tracy Franklin into the Wall of Fame.
