Dr. Alan Smith
Dr. Alan Smith graduated from Cashmere High School in 1972. He was an honor student and an all-state basketball player. Until 1998 he was our all time leading scorer.
He went on to the University of Washington where he played varsity basketball and graduated Phi Beta Kappa in 1976. Dr. Smith then entered the U.W. Medical School, graduating in 1980 as a member of Alpha Omega Medical School Honorary.
After a residency at the U.W., Dr. Smith spent three years in a fellowship at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. He practiced medicine at the Polyclinic of Seattle from 1986-1998 where he was president of an organization of 85 doctors.
He continues to teach and is a clinical assistant professor at the U.W. He, his wife Colleen, and their five children returned to the Wenatchee area in March of 1998, where he assumed a practice at the Wenatchee Valley Clinic.
We welcome Dr. Alan Smith to the Cashmere High School’s Wall of Fame.
