  • The Food Service Department in the Cashmere School District works hard every day to ensure students throughout the district have a nutritious breakfast and lunch every school day. 
     
    Please note that the Cashmere School District is NOT peanut or tree nut free. Your child may come into contact with peanuts/tree nuts in the course of their day while on Cashmere School District property.  
     
    Districtwide Notice: To help parents with the busy day-to-day tasks needed with school-aged children, Cashmere School District offers parents a grace period when lunch money is forgotten. This grace period allows students to charge meals to their school lunch account until they bring money from home. Parents are still responsible for repaying the charges accrued during the grace period. While we strongly discourage meal charges, we understand that an occasional emergency makes it necessary. It is important to make sure your contact information stays current with the school district, so we are able to communicate more efficiently regarding your child’s lunch account.
     
    Parents will be notified and asked for prompt payment after three charges and all charges must be paid in 10 days.
     
    If there is difficulty paying for student lunches, Cashmere School District encourages parents to complete the Application for Free and Reduced-Price meals and which is available above or at each school.
     
    Elementary level: We will serve any student who has a negative balance of $6.00, a lunch consisting of milk and a cheese sandwich until the balance is paid. The student will not be served breakfast.
     
    Middle School – One lunch may be charged. We will provide cheese sandwich and milk until the charge is paid.
     
    High School – No charges allowed
     

    Distrito Nota: Para ayudar a los padres ocupados con las tareas del día a día sea necesario con los niños en edad escolar, cachemira Distrito Escolar ofrece a los padres un período de gracia cuando el dinero del almuerzo se olvida.
