I have been a teacher at Vale Elementary since 2007. I recently joined the literacy team of teachers. Prior to teaching first and second grade reading, I had the opportunity to teach fourth grade for eight years and taught one year in the Special Education Preschool at Vale. My husband was born and raised in Cashmere, and I was fortunate to join the Cashmere community after we married in 2007. I grew up in Spokane, Washington, where I graduated from Mt. Spokane High School, then graduated with my education degree from Whitworth University. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and two boys.
