Current Position

I am currently teaching 8^th Science at Cashmere Middle School. I also coach track and field. I am a graduate of HeppnerHigh School and Willamette University (home of the small, yet fierce, Bearcats!), where I majored in biology, played volleyball, and ran track. I earned a Master of Science degree from Western Oregon State College, and am a National Board Certified teacher.

About Me

I have been married to my husband Duane for 22 years and have 3 children, Jacob, Alison and Carter (twins!). Jacob goes to WSU, "Go Cougs," and the twins are juniors at Cashmere High School, "Go Bulldogs!" We have lived in Cashmere for 22 years. We have a cat named Kirby and a new puppy named Gus. I enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities and sports including camping, boating, yoga, traveling and volleyball. I also LOVE anything related to science!
