Mrs. Rose Shook
I teach 6th grade Language Arts and Social Studies. I started teaching in Edmonds School District, at Spruce Elementary. I taught 2nd grade for four years. I moved to Cashmere in 1993. I taught at Vale Elementary for two years. My first year was in a bilingual kindergarten and my second year was in a bilingual 1st grade. I then moved up to the middle school and have been teaching in the 6th grade for 20 years.
I grew up just down the road in East Wenatchee, graduating from the Eastmont School District. While attending Western Wasthington University, I spent 6 months going to school and teaching kindergarten in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico. I love spending time with my family. I have been married to my husband Jeff for 31 years. He was born and raised in Cashmere,. My two kids are Mike and Kara, and I have two granddaughters, Madilyn and Alisyn. Outside of school I like to read and play the piano, and in the summer you can find me in my pool.
