Grew up as an Ellensburg Bulldog.  Studied Industrial Design at UW, transferred to CWU to escape the traffic, get some sun, and study fine arts.  Took a year to travel the country and lived in a van down by the river.  Settled down and got an Art teaching degree from CWU, followed by a Masters in Art.  Moved to Nevada to teach, then Thorp, then Selah, and finally landed a job in Cashmere.  Wife, Dawn, and kids, Quinn and Zane, spend their days teaching and learning at Vale Elementary.
