Biography

Mrs. Ryan was born in Missoula, Montana and spent most of her childhood in Kalispell, Montana. She graduated from Eastern Washington State College in Cheney, Washington. In addition to teaching in the Cashmere School district, she also taught on Bainbridge Island and in Othello.

She has taught fourth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. Currently she is teaching fourth grade, sharing a room with Mrs. Schoening.

Mrs. Ryan and her husband, Dick, have been married for 32 years. They have 4 adult children: Shelley, Dana, Katie, and Kurt. The newest addition to the family is a granddaughter, Dora, born to Shelley and Matt Ryan-Kelzenberg on May 29, 2001. "I love teaching fourth graders at the Vale. As I tell my students, 'You make my day!'"
