An interview with Mrs. Ream by Jessica P.

1. What is your job at Vale? Have you ever taught anything else?
I am a 1st grade teacher. I have also taught Kindergarten.

2. How long have you worked here?
Since September 1988.

3. Who are the people in your family? Do you have any pets?
My husband, Chuck, 3 sons - Scott born in 1991, Cody born in 1994 and Adam born in 1996 . We also have a dog named Nikky, a cat named Mico, a hermit crab, a dwarf hampster and several fish.

4. Have you had any other careers or jobs?
I have worked at the college washing dishes and in an office.

5. Where did you go to college? What is your degree?
University of Puget Sound, Stephens College in Missouri. My degree is in elementary education.

6. Why did you want to be a teacher? What inspired you?
I love working with kids. I was inspired by working in preschools and daycares when I was younger.

7. What do you like to do outside of school?
Do you have any hobbies? I like to travel (any place but especially the ocean), read and do craft projects.

8. Are there any interesting facts you want people to know about you?
None that I can think of!.
