An interview with Mrs. Martinez by Jessica

1. What is your job at Vale? Have you ever taught anything else?
I teach Kindergarten. I have also taught First Grade and ESL.

2. How long have you worked here?
Since 1993.

3. Who are the people in your family? Do you have any pets?
My Husband’s name is Javier and I have one son named Domingo. We don’t have any pets right now.

4. Have you had any other careers or jobs?
I have been a Para Pro and a Home Visitor.

5. Where did you go to college? What is your degree?
I attended college at Wenatchee Valley College and Heritage College. I have a B.A. in Teaching and an M.A Bilingual Education.

6. Why did you want to be a teacher? What inspired you?
I love children.
Honest People.

7. What do you like to do outside of school? Do you have any hobbies?
I enjoy jogging, biking, shopping and talking.
My hobbies are playing guitar, dancing and singing.

8. Are there any interesting facts you want people to know about you?
I moved to the USA from Mexico when I was 19. I have a degree in Business Administration.
