An interview with Mrs. Griffith by Tess M.

1. What is your job at Vale? Have you ever taught anything else?
I teach 2nd grade and have taught 1st.

2. How long have you worked here?
Since 1991

3. Who are the people in your family? Do you have any pets?
My husband is Scott who also works at Vale. My daughter, Rachel, was born in 1991 and my son, Nathan, was born in 1995. We have 2 cats and 1 dog.

4. Where did you go to college? What is your degree?
I graduated from Central Washington University with a degree in Elementary Education and received my Masters Degree in Reading.

5. Why did you want to be a teacher? What inspired you?
I love seeing kids learn. I was inspired by my grandma, mom, dad, aunt and sister.

6. What do you like to do outside of school? Do you have any hobbies?
I love to camp, boat, ski, read, travel, watch TV, and spend time with my family.

7. Are there any interesting facts you want people to know about you?
have been in every state except Alaska and have visited 8 countries
