An interview with Mrs. Falteisek by Dylan D.

1. What is your job at Vale? Have you ever taught anything else?
I have taught Kindergarten and been a reading coordinator.

2. How long have you worked here?
Since 1997

3. Who are the people in your family? Do you have any pets?
My husband’s name is Dean and I have two daughters, Anastasia born in 1992 and Zosha born in 1988. I have a dog named Buffer.

4. Where did you go to college? What is your degree?
I graduated from Central Washington University with a BA in Early Childhood Education and Masters degree in Education.

5. Why did you want to be a teacher? What inspired you?
I love kids. I was inspired by a teacher.

6. What do you like to do outside of school? Do you have any hobbies?
I love to cross-country ski, work in the garden, read, scrapbook and spending time with my family.

7. Are there any interesting facts you want people to know about you?
Every summer we go camping. Each summer we go to a different place. In 2006 we went to the San Juan Islands and the best part was watching the Orcas out in the wild.
