An interview with Mr. Crutcher by Alan S.

1. What is your job at Vale? Have you ever taught anything else?
I am a 4th grade teacher. I have also taught 3rd grade, 6th grade and Special Education.

2. How long have you worked here?
Since 1999

3. Who are the people in your family? Do you have any pets?
I have a wife named Wendy. I have twin boys, Case and Colby, born in 2001 and a son, Landon, born in 2005. We have chickens.

4. Have you had any other careers or jobs?
I taught in Othello and have also been a farmer.

5. Where did you go to college? What is your degree?
Whitworth College with a degree in Elementary Education, History and Special Education.

6. Why did you want to be a teacher? What inspired you?
I like kids and it is fun. My teachers inspired me.

7. What do you like to do outside of school?
Do you have any hobbies? I like to garden, collect coins, hike and have family time.

8. Are there any interesting facts you want people to know about you?
I went to Space Camp and played Rugby.
