Biography

An interview with Mrs. Keene by Andres.

1. What is your job at Vale? Have you ever taught anything else?
I teach music to kids.

2. How long have you worked here?
Since 1996

3. Who are the people in your family? Do you have any pets?
My husband’s name is Steve and I have 3 children named Emma and Kate and Jessie. We have a dog named Bridget

4. Have you had any other careers or jobs?
I worked at Disney World, on Cruise Ships and taught in Colorado.

5. Where did you go to college? What is your degree?
I went to the University of Kansas and Arizona State and have my degree in Music.

6. Why did you want to be a teacher? What inspired you?
Kids are so much fun! I was inspired by great music teachers and wanted to be like them.

7. What do you like to do outside of school? Do you have any hobbies?
I love to play the trumpet, play with family, campout, hike cook, work on photo albums, and play in the brass quintet.

8. Are there any interesting facts you want people to know about you?
I don’t like brussel sprouts, I do like berries and I am left handed.
