An interview with Mr. McKenna by Leah S.

1. What is your job at Vale? Have you ever taught anything else?
I teach 3rd grade. I have also taught 1st grade.

2. How long have you worked here?
Since 2005

3. Who are the people in your family? Do you have any pets?
My wife’s name is Jami and I have a daughter born in 2006. We don’t have any pets.

4. Have you had any other careers or jobs?
I haven’t had any other careers.

5. Where did you go to college? What is your degree?
I attended Central Washington University with a degree in Education.

6. Why did you want to be a teacher? What inspired you?
I became a teacher because I wanted to work with kids.
My father inspired me!

7. What do you like to do outside of school? Do you have any hobbies?
I enjoy hiking and being with my family.

8. Are there any interesting facts you want people to know about you?
I live in Wenatchee.
