| Pathways
is a pre-graduation program designed to help high school students
prepare for post graduation experiences. CHS staff members act
as advisors for groups of 15-25 students for their entire four
years of high school. Pathways projects include: goal setting,
four-year planning, resumé writing, community service,
reflective end-of-year essays, and career exploration. Advisory
groups meet every few weeks to complete projects and discuss
upcoming deadlines. At the end of their senior year, students
prepare a culminating presentation over-viewing their high school
careers and Pathways' contribution to their success. Completion
of the Pathways program is a graduation requirement at CHS. |
