Biography

Mr. Smith teaches sixth grade. Mr. Smith attended Cashmere schools from sixth grade through twelfth grade where he graduated in 1978. Mr. Smith graduated from Washington State University. Mr. Smith likes teaching sixth grade because this is a year before change, and the end of real childhood. Besides teaching, Mr. Smith coaches freshman football, directs the sixth grade play and sixth grade camp. He has also coached high school wrestling.

Mr. Smith has a wife who teaches third grade at Vale Elementary. They have two daughters, Ashley and Taylor. Outside of school Mr. Smith enjoys scouting for the High School football team.
