Attention All Chieftains: Cashmere M.S. PTO is now in the process of planning a special school-wide event “Chieftains Got Talent-A Variety Show.” Start making your plans now so you can participate in this unique opportunity to showcase your talents this February. Individual or group performances are encouraged. Also, we would like to invite students to display their artistic work such as paintings, sculptures, art work etc. during this event. Look for more details coming soon.
Attention 5th and 6th Grade Safety Patrol Students: If you are on duty you need to report in the morning at 7:45 and then again in the afternoon at 2:50. It is important that you be there each day you are assigned for duty. If you are not able to report for you assigned duty you will need to find another Safety Patrol student to fill in. If you miss more than three of your duties during the school year, you may not be qualified to participate in the end of the year reward activity. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Wells.
Canned food drive --- with Christmas coming up, excitement is in the air for all students, but some people don’t have enough food. Christmas is about giving so, let’s give to those in need by collecting 3,000 canned food items from December 9th-19th. The winning classes that bring in the most canned food items in the upstairs and downstairs divisions will get a pizza party. Remember, it’s not about winning it’s about giving.
Activity Night for 7th and 8th graders --- let’s kick off the canned food drive with a bang! Come to Activity Night on Friday, December 6th from 5:30-7 pm. It will start in the gym and move to the auditorium. Bring one canned food item to enter.
Attention Youth Volleyball: Practice times have changed for this week:
Thursday = 5:45-7 pm
Friday = 3-4:30 pm
Next 7th/8th boys’ basketball game is TODAY at Pioneer M.S. 8th grade “C” game at 3:15 followed by “A” and then “B” teams. (Players dismissed at 2:15 --- bus departs at 2:30.)
