*Canned food Update:  Great job CMS students!  Yesterday’s collection was 800 items.  Mr. Carlson’s 5th grade leads all classes with 131 items, followed by Mrs. Satterfield’s 5th grade class with 115 items.  Mrs. Som leads the 6th grade with 83 items, Mr. Wise’s 7th graders lead with 51 items and Mr. Robertson’s 8th graders have a slight lead over Mr. Davidson’s class.  We have only a few more days to reach our goal of 3,000 items.  Today’s collection is for grades 5 and 6.  Collection on Monday is for all grades.  So…this weekend go see your neighbors or when you are downtown shopping throw a can of beans in the shopping cart.

*Boys and girls:  You have been asked several times to keep the playground clean from chip wrappers and a clean lunch room.  It is very disappointing that you failed to understand it is everyone’s responsibility to keep the playground and lunch room clean.  Thus there will be a little reminder by not having any snacks for the next couple of days.  Your cooperation is truly appreciated.

Special note:  6th grade lunch eaters – your tables were still too messy.  Please help us by keeping a clean and happy lunch room.

*Leadership students remember our final rehearsal for the assembly is Monday, November 9 at 6:30 p.m. in the commons area.

*Activity night for 7th and 8th graders Tuesday beginning at 7 p.m.  Please check your eligibility with your teachers.

*Veterans’ Day Assembly Tuesday 10th at 1:30.

*No school next Wednesday in honor of Veteran’s Day.

*Mission Ridge ski and snowboard holiday camp fliers are in the office.

*Conference week is November 16th through November 20th.
